sneezy 1/30/06- Happiness is based on what you have known
It was a day of grumpy client calls, computer gliches, and people getting out of the hospital.
I talked to my uncle JC - who said I showed see New Orleans before they fix it all up. He also said they might not have Mardi Gras.
We talked about the struggle they (he & my mom) were having getting their lives back together, and how it could of been worst for them.
I talked to my mom a bit about that same thing and the cat that won't leave the bathroom.

From what I hear (from local sources) they actually are having mardi gras - though there has been a lot of debate among locals as to whether or not it's a good idea.

I'm seriously considering getting down there for it. It looks to be the most local mardi gras they are going to have during my lifetime, so it's quite tempting. Although I hear hotel space is hard to come by as some locals are still living in hotel rooms.

My mom says Mardi Gras..
is a go.Though the weather is cold and wet there.
